Arborians are annoying, sentient trees. They're known to have the most delicious syrup in the world. They grow from Arborian
acorns on smooth fresh soil. When young, their syrup is bitter, in fact, so bitter and unappealing that it has become the second thing that Chowder refuses to eat. Catering makes them grow and, when mature, their syrup becomes delicious. The father of the tribe is Arbor, who has many relatives.
Personality
Arborians are extremely picky and demanding, only giving syrup to those who fulfill their desires. They have an affinity for marble columns and tiger statues with lightning bolts, which they consider a requirement for their living spaces. They are deceitful, as seen in "The Arborians" when they lock Mung in a broom closet after telling him that he will be rewarded with syrup for entering. They are also exploitative and use Mung's desire to get their syrup in order to be catered for without any clear intentions of providing any.

- It is shown at the end of "The Arborians" that, once sentient, they can sprout from any surface.
- In "Hey, Hey, It's Knishmas!", it's implied that the Arborians sell their dead as Knishmas trees.
- Every male tree is named "Arbor" and every female tree is named "Arbora".
