"Créme Puff Hands" is the 37^th episode of Season 1 of Chowder and the 37^th episode of the series overall.

Synopsis

Truffles desperately wants Créme puffs. Chowder tries to help make them, but gets sucked into the Créme Puff Puffer and gets his hand filled with créme. His hand is now extremely large, which he uses to commit good deeds around Marzipan. When the people of Marzipan are gratefully honoring his hand, his hand deflates. He goes back to the catering company to puff it back up again, against Mung's wishes. Chowder's hand now grows even bigger than before. He then proceeds to "help" Marzipan City, completely oblivious to the fact that he is destroying everything in his path. After he "helps" everyone, he decides to help the world. But in order to do that, he has to inflate his hand to be even larger. In the process, Mung puffs up his hand and they have a fight, using several bad hand puns and transferring the créme to different parts of their bodies. When Mung finally transfers the créme to Chowder's mouth, Schnitzel and Truffles both hit Chowder's cheeks to make him swallow the créme. After the fight is over, Mung continues to use hand puns, despite Truffles still wanting Créme Puffs and Chowder ralfing (vomiting).

Trivia

• When Mung says, "This is for your own good, Chowder!", his puffed hand switches from right to left, as if his créme was never really transferred.
• This is one of the few episodes to feature humans.
• The word "Ralf" (a placeholder for the word purge) is very uncommon in cartoons. Characters usually call it "Vomit", "Hurl", "Barf" or "Throw up".
• When Chowder's hand grew, it mostly represents Monkey D. Luffy's Gear Third mode.
• This episode marks Panini's debut in the puppet credit sequences, though she doesn't speak.
  • This is also the only puppet credit sequence that has no verbal dialogue.
