Jeffrey is a minoeagle who was hired by Gumbo to guard the Deadly Maze. He chases Chowder and Gumbo in the maze with a large wooden mallet.

When Gumbo gets trapped in one of his own traps, Jeffrey lays an egg and a Baby Minotaur emerges. Chowder later makes bird calls which convinced Jeffrey to lead Chowder and Gumbo out of the maze.
