Powder was the replacement apprentice of Mung Daal's in The Fire Breather after Chowder ran away to live with dragons. He's a dog-like creature that has the same clothes as Gumbo although his hat has three points instead of two. He has the same clothing pattern as Chowder does, but in red, and he is barefoot. Mung kicked him off screen when Chowder returned, but he was reportedly seen in “The BLT’s”. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Trivia

• Powder is very similar to Tex Avery's Droopy both voice and appearance-wise. This design choice was likely done intentionally.
