Scary is a character in Chowder. He only appears in "The Belgian Waffle Slobber-Barker" as a food guard dog for the catering company.
After their pies got stolen, Mung decided to create a Belgian Waffle Slobber-Barker, a guard dog made out of food that eats crooks for dinner. The recipe consists of: 75 Dog Dough Droppings, A Spoonful of Snore-High Bones, and a Pinch of Special K-9 then let it bake for 11 minutes.
However, when no one was looking... Chowder added some Crazy Fruit into the mix. 11 minutes later, after the gang had the craziest episode they've ever had, the Belgian Waffle Slobber-Barker bursts out of the oven and starts chasing them around the kitchen, having been made way more agressive than intended due to the Crazy Fruit. As it was chasing them, they all decided on the name "Scary" as that described it pretty well.
