About Me

Welcome to my userpage everyone. I am Webkinz Mania.

I contribute on the Chowder Wiki and made Special:Editcount/Webkinz Mania contributions during my time here. I am currently a bureaucrat on the Wiki and I forgot I was still promoted until I came back in 2017.

My relationship with the series is turbulent. I was an avid watcher early on in the series, watching during The New Thursday Nights and eventually Har Har Thursdays. The first season was inspired and devoted to a life of a young chef trying to learn how to prepare food in a kitchen. The second season strayed from that, but still managed to have some serviceable episodes early on. In the middle of the second season, there was a shift in philosophy for the series, with less episodes in the kitchen, nearly every episode having a fourth wall break to the point it was a distraction and the overall dumbing down of Chowder.

By the time the third and final season came, the writing was on the wall for the series to be cancelled. Virtually every episode down the stretch was unmemorable and the series finale was underwhelming. The show had immense potential and flashed it during the first forty quarter-hour episodes, but could not replicate their success as the series came to a close.
