Plot
While out on a camping trip, Mung and Shnitzel (mostly the former) mistakenly believe that Chowder ate all the food meant for their trip -- in reality, the culprit was a mysterious creature known as "Big Food" who (of the trio) only Chowder believes in. Chowder leaves Mung and Shnitzel to prove his innocence, and he eventually stumbles upon Big Food's cave.
It turns out that Big Food's a washed-up actress who has long since faded into obscurity (which could explain why hardly anyone currently believes that she's real). Now living as a recluse and watching her old movies (which appear to be from the show's equivalent of Hollywood's Golden Age) in an attempt to relive her glory days, occasionally stealing food from campers (such as Chowder, Mung and Shnitzel) in order to get by. Big Food eventually notices Chowder and soon starts making demands of him, mistaking him for her old assistant/co-star/butler, Flax (making it rather clear that Big Food isn't mentally stable).
When Chowder asks Big Food to come back to the campsite he's sharing with Mung and Shnitzel, she misinterprets this as her making a comeback as an actress. After order some fresh food from Dine-1-1 and using that give Big Food a makeover, the duo eventually gets into Big Food's car to get her back to Chowder's campsite. But when Chowder crashes the car, Big Food loses hope about making a comeback. Chowder soon starts serenading her, which helps the old actress feel better -- but when Big Food asks Chowder (still mistaking him for Flax) to recreate a scene from one of her old movies, Chowder accidentally swallows her whole (since Big Food is still technically made of food).
Chowder eventually makes it back to his campsite and Mung and Shnitzel are glad to see that he's okay. Chowder's ultimately able to prove to them that Big Food is in fact real, because it turns out that she's somehow still alive while in Chowder's stomach (which Mung and Shnitzel are able to see). Big Food's very happy down there too, as she's been reunited with all of her "old friends" from her days as an actress.
Mung and Shntizel are (understandably) surprised to see that Big Food's real -- while Chowder walks off, happy to have been proven right, Mung and Shnitzel then start wondering what else Chowder could've been right about if he was right about Big Food being real. The episode ultimately ends with a view of an alien werewolf businessman living in a hotdog-house on the moon.

Trivia
- During the episode, Chowder breaks out into a song entitled "What a Wonderful Food," which parodies Louis Armstrong's recording of "What a Wonderful World" in both lyric choice and delivery.
- It is revealed that Chowder believes in tabloids that prove accurate at the end.
- Big Food, the character, is a parody of Old Hollywood like references to Marilyn Monroe with Some Like It 350 Degrees, a parody of Some Like It Hot as well as the film Sunset Boulevard, which is about an aging former famous aging actress wanting to make her comeback. Facial expressions such as the eyebrows are even at times like the arched eyebrows of Gloria Swanson in the film.
